Pre-party wondering

There's got to be an equation - or maybe a set of them - to determine how good I should make this bean dip so that it doesn't go
1) so fast we run out, or
2) so slowly I'm offended.

Maybe so, or at least they could be derived from some emperical testing, but I would image the required ingredient inputs may be precise and need 'measuring' - possibly a no-go for you :P

Alternately, a bean dip that got tastier as the night went on (maybe the ingredients gel together more) might fit your needs nicely. Unfortunately, I can't help you here either.
